Magical experience in Santorini!

Santorini is not just about the caldera and sunsets: its beaches with black, white or red sand create a striking contrast with the blue of the Aegean Sea. Ideal for a day-long getaway or a swim during your stay on the island.

Red Beach

Unique volcanic beauty with bright red rocks and sand made of broken lava, in a narrow, picturesque valley. Famous for photos and snorkeling.

  • Identity: red boulders, black–red pebbles

  • Access: on foot from Akrotiri or by boat

  • Note: limited services, serious caution for landslides

Perissa – Perivolos

Long (7+km) towering black paradise with comfortable beach bars, restaurants, sports activities, ideal for families and groups.

  • Features: crystal clear waters, sandy black beach, view of Mesa Vouno

  • Facilities: sun loungers, beach bar, water sports (windsurfing, jet skiing), playgrounds

  • A more laid-back vibe compared to Perivolos which is more cosmopolitan

Kamari

One of the most organized black-sand destinations, with a large pier, sports activities, playgrounds and nightlife.

  • Features: black sand, hotels and taverns by the sea

  • Services: sun loungers, umbrellas, water sports (snorkeling, diving, windsurfing)

  • Atmosphere: family-friendly and young crowd

Λευκή Παραλία

Small, picturesque beach with white limestone rocks and gray pebbles; secluded hidden under the Red. Accessible only by boat or hiking.

  • Features: white rocks, gray to black sand

  • Access: only by boat from Red Beach

  • Ideal for: photos, tranquility, exploring small caves

Vlychada

The ”lunar” beach of Santorini with gray-black sand and impressive white, polished rocks that look like sculptures.

  • Features: wild beauty, artistically sculpted rocks

  • Ideal for: relaxation, unique photography, meaningful experience
