Notification on the Processing of Personal Data via Video Surveillance System

2. Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis:
ELYVIA CAVES uses a video surveillance system to protect individuals and property on our premises. The processing of the data is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by us, as defined in Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. Analysis of Legitimate Interests:
Our legitimate interest lies in the need to protect our facilities, the goods within them, and the safety of our employees and visitors from unlawful acts (e.g., theft or other criminal offenses). We collect only image data and restrict the recording to high-risk areas, such as entrances or cash registers, without violating the privacy of individuals being recorded.
4. Recipients:
The material from the video surveillance system is accessible only to authorized personnel at ELYVIA CAVES, who are responsible for the security of the premises. This material is not shared with third parties, unless required for:
- The investigation of unlawful acts by competent judicial, prosecutorial, or police authorities.
- Provision to third parties as evidence in the event of a criminal offense.
5. Retention Period:
Video surveillance data is retained for 7 days. If an incident is detected within this period, the relevant material may be stored for up to 30 days for the investigation of the incident. If the incident involves a third party, the material will be kept for up to 3 months.

You have the following rights concerning your data:
- Right of Access: You have the right to know whether we are processing your data and to obtain a copy of it.
- Right to Restriction: You may request a restriction of processing if you believe your data is inaccurate or should not be processed.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your data.
- Right to Erasure: You may request the deletion of your data, as long as permitted by law.
